New 3D Guide Scope System

With our new 3D guide scope system it has never been easier to find a suitable guide star.

The front and rear height adjustment screws provides vertical adjustment of  approximately +/- 8mm and the Yaw screw provides approximately  +/-30mm of  horizontally adjustment allowing the guide scope to view a huge area of sky.

The guide scope is mounted securely onto the Yaw Plate using standard scope rings and pointing adjustments can be made at any time via the adjustment screws.

Two versions are available, one designed to clamp onto a standard 100mm wide dovetail bar (shown in photo), and another designed to fit a 100mm tandem plate of a side-by-side system or similar dovetail holding plate.

The system is 100mm wide, 350mm long and approximately 40mm high not including the yaw plate tension adjustment screw.

EQ6 Heavy Duty Counterweight Shaft.

Replace the standard EQ6 counterweight shaft with a new  more stable heavy duty model made from solid 25mm stainless steel.

It is approximately 100mm longer than the standard shaft and has been designed to extend into the mount’s declination axis bearing shaft approximately 40mm for additional strength and stability.

Also, low cost weightlifting bar weights may be used.
