In the past few months we have spent considerable time and effort to improve and expand our product range supporting the Synta EQ6 series GEM. Specifically we have focused on our

EQ-SBS-S and EQ-SBS-H Side-By-Side (Tandem) Systems that provide a strong and stable plateform for mounting multiple telescopes and accessories onto the EQ6 or HEQ5 mounts.

The EQ-SBS-S is designed to use the mount’s own dovetail head unit and the EQ-SBS-H includes a new head unit as part of the Tandem Bar assembly. Each has their own particular advantages and disadvantages.

With both of these systems we have increased the length of the standard tandem bar to 420mm to ensure plenty of room for mounting larger telescopes.

Our new Ultra-Grip Dovetail Plates will provide maximum holding with minimum pressure applied to the dovetails. The tandem bar clamp uses an indexing lever screw for easy reach when dovetail bars supporting the telescopes are installed.

ImagingSource have enhanced their range of the popular DMK/DFK/DBK Series Astronomy Cameras and can now offer these cameras with a choice of either FireWire or 420Mbits/second USB2.0 computer interfaces.
